After your 'Coming Out' as another Linux kernel access control project, I as initiator invite all of you who are interested to our discussion about a Generic Access Control Interface (GACI) for the Linux kernel. This discussion has been started at the end of September 2000, with an invitation to all people interested in the Medusa, LIDS, Linux ACL, SGI, RSBAC and all other Linux kernel access control projects. As your system, like some of the other ones, uses a model independent interception of existing kernel functions, you are probably also interested in a common solution that is part of the official kernel. The invitation has not been sent to linux-kernel yet, because I believe that the existing projects should first agree on a solution, and then propose it together to linux-kernel. You can find the GACI list with subscription and archive at http://www.compuniverse.de/lwgate/gaci You can also subscribe by mail to majordomo@compuniverse.de with a single line subscribe gaci in the body. List postings go to gaci@compuniverse.de. Amon Ott. You have received this message because you are subscribed to the selinux list. If you no longer wish to subscribe, send mail to majordomo@tycho.nsa.gov with the words "unsubscribe selinux" without quotes as the message.
