Each node of the piconet (max 5) has to connect only with the master of the piconet itself, and each piconet has to send and receive data, via BT, with a PC that has to collect and manage the data of all the piconets. The distance between the majority of the piconets and the PC is greater than the max possible for a BT class 1 device, so it's necessary that the master of each piconet work as a gateway for the other piconets. I hope to have been enough clear. I kindly ask you an answer for the feasibility of such kind of BT network, or eventually to know the max number of nodes that can be managed. Best regards Elisabetta Gilli ------=_NextPart_000_006B_01C509FD.9D9B3E60 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Hello,
I would like=20 to know if it's possible to realize a BT scatternet made by some = hundreds (300=20 for example) of piconets. Each node of the piconet (max 5) has = to=20 connect only with the master of the piconet itself, and each piconet has = to send=20 and receive data, via BT, with a PC that has to =  collect=20 and manage the data of all the piconets. The = distance between the=20 majority of the piconets and the PC is greater than the max = possible for a=20 BT class 1 device, so it's necessary that the master of each = piconet work=20 as a gateway for the other piconets.

I hope to=20 have been enough clear. I kindly ask you an answer for the feasibility = of such=20 kind of BT network, or eventually to know the max number of nodes that = can be=20 managed.

Best=20 regards
