Subject: Clipper locks - still having problems
Date: Thu, 7 Nov 2002 10:21:30 -0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <02110710213000.01007@anderson.cdc.net> (raw)

Hi all,

Again I am here to tell that I could not solve my problem with Clipper
locks.

I am using:
Kernel 2.4.18
Samba 2.2.5
dosemu 1.1.3.7

I downloaded, applied patch, compiled and installed ok. I started samba with
both oplocks=yes and no, but windows workstations did not see locks made by
dosemu.

My simple smb.conf is:
[global]
        workgroup = CDC
        server string = Servidor backup
        security = SHARE
        log level = 1
        log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m
        max log size = 50
        socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192
        dns proxy = No
        printing = lprng
        oplocks = no
[comercial]
        comment = Arquivos depto comercial
        path = /usr/local/home/redecdc/comercial
        read only = No
        guest ok = Yes
