Sounds OK with me, but I still need to do the stuff in a separate directory
from target/linux initially, because if I do it inside that directory,
then there is a high probability that I run into conflicts with other
patches during the work.
It is going to take some time obviously.

I think that kernel-headers need to remain for pre 2.6.19 kernels.
Noticed that nios2 support will break without that.
For later kernels, it is better to do it in target/linux/
