As it appears on at least three different soundcards (snd-ens1371, snd-via82xx and snd-intel8x0 (intel records left and omits right channel)), I think that the cause might have something to do with the pcm core. Note also, that drivers for ens1371 and via82xx worked well in the older (0.5.10b) versions of ALSA. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tiwai - 03-29-05 17:14 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- How did you record? Provide the information to reproduce your problem precisely. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- David Klusacek - 03-29-05 20:14 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry tiwai, I filled the procedure into 'Step To Reproduce' form not knowing that about uneccessarily complexity of the bug tracking system (goes together well with uneccessarily complex design of ALSA). I really do not understand why is such an important paragraph hidden by default. You have to click on 'View Advanced' link at the header of the bug report form. The next time I will write everything into the 'Describtion' paragraph.
