Im just heading off to bed.. The problem occurs in the 'driver' that I've wrote/been maintaining for a library called 'Allegro' (http://alleg.sf.net/). Do you wan't me to send you the entire library (I've made some significant changes to the way allegro's configure script detects ALSA...)?
