Subject: How to find device numbers?
Date: 27 Apr 2003 13:25:33 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1051464332.2677.5.camel@tiger> (raw)

During boot I'm seeing these messages in my log:

modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module char-major-188
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module char-major-226

Is there a list somewhere which has all these numbers and what they
represent?
