woohoo!

After _months_ of working on custom hacked-up kernels, tweaking
latencies, grabbing CVS snapshots... I finally have a very slick little
mobile Linux audio platform. Paul, thank you for your help with regards
to HDSP support. You rock! I still suffer from a couple skips here and
there (without being reported as xruns), but so long as there isn't any
HUGE amount of load on my laptop, everything seems fairly solid. (and as
long as I'm using real-time scheduling, of course...; I compile a kernel
as root to test and MOST of the time, get solid playback.)
