There was a patch sent to this list about a 6-8 month ago. I felt that
it wasn't completely correct and was going to rewrite it a bit before
applying. I didn't have a chance (lack of time) to do that yet.
So if you're interested you could dig it up from archives and port to
2.6 which will greatly increase its chances to be applied :)
