Subject: [BUG 2.6.6-rc2-mm1] rmmod processor causes kernel panic on speedstep-centrino
Date: Sun, 02 May 2004 23:11:58 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1083532317.18059.12.camel@localhost> (raw)

Hi,

Problem:
rmmod processor causes kernel panic on speedstep-centrino

Description:
I read somewhere that module "processor" affects madwifi performance, so
I decided to remove the module. (I had to rmmod thermal as well) This
caused a kernel panic, yet the thinkpad is still up and seemingly, fully
functional and used to submit this report with.

Kernel version:
2.6.6-rc2-mm1, with own dsdt.

Output: (after rmmod processor)
