Chris, what about adding a /sys/btrfs/<fs-uuid>/<subvol-id> interface ?
For example under
/sys/btrfs/<fs-uuid>
we can list the devices which btrfs uses
under
/sys/btrfs/<fs-uuid>/<subvol-id>
we can show/set the subvolume properties (like RO, compres....)
