Can some SuSE user out there provide step by step instructions to apply the patch and recompile ALSA? Currently Giuseppe is the only Linux user we know of with access to this hardware, so this feedback would be quite valuable. Another option would be to provide me with temporary SSH access to the machine. It would probably only take half an hour. Please mail me privately if you are interested in this approach.
