Hi All 

Okay I have to apologise again... Rosegarden fired up, but I hadn't
registered the device.. the problem is still open .. I have delted the
note to the bugtracker so it still stands open. 

So as it stands, the mtpav driver doesn't work on 64 bit Gentoo... well
at least my build.. 

As mentioned earlier.. I can get around it as I use less than 16
channels so can use my MIDI controllers ins and outs.... but am more
than happy to test any fixes..
