Subject: domU shutdown problems
Date: Sat, 01 Oct 2005 14:48:41 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1128192521.4451.8.camel@pluto.linsolutions.com> (raw)

FC4 dom0, tyan 2462 SMP, all guest's SMP

xen_changeset : 7150 : Fri Sep 30 12:37:52 2005 +0100 9d047fb99e38

Very erratic behavior with shut down of domU's, happens doing xm
shutdown as well as issuing init 0 at domU console.

[root@inyoureyes 2.6.12-xenU]# xm list
Name Id Mem(MB) CPU VCPU(s) State Time(s)
Domain-0 0 129 - 2 r----- 186.7
inyoureyes-domain2 5 0 - 2 ---s-d 29.8
inyoureyes-domain3 6 0 - 2 ---s-d 20.7
inyoureyes-domain4 7 0 - 2 ---s-d 105.9

Once they get like this xm destroy doesn't work either.

Nothing in the xend logs. I am using 2 nics in this setup as well and
have also enabled 4 gig ram option for guests.

Restart of xend does clean them out.

Regards,
Ted
