Message-ID: <1130015909.29641.28.camel@pluto.linsolutions.com> (raw)

Tyan 2462 SMP

Seeing issues with scsi errors and 3c59x driver again.
For kicks I tried modules and compiled into the kernel no difference.
I also saw this when 2.6.12-5 patch was applied corrrectly according to
changeset.

The only thing I can make of this is an irg sharing issue.

 16: 887 0 Phys-irq aic7xxx, eth0
 17: 4127 0 Phys-irq aic7xxx

16 is the same irq the scsi controller with all the timeout issues.

2.6.9-22.ELsmp - Centos 4.2 n
2.6.13-1.1532_FC4smp FC4

No issues with any of these, browsed over the changelogs for 2.6.13.4
and nothing relevant in their. Really don't see the point of spinning
a non zen 2.6.12.6 to test with unless someone here feels otherwise.
