The chip inside is from ISSC and in general this device works without any problems, but it shows 22:22:22:22:22:22 as its BD_ADDR. hci0: Type: USB BD Address: 22:22:22:22:22:22 ACL MTU: 678:8 SCO MTU: 48:10 Features: 0xbf 0xfe 0x8d 0x78 0x08 0x18 0x00 0x00 <3-slot packets> <5-slot packets> HCI Ver: 1.2 (0x2) HCI Rev: 0x1f4 LMP Ver: 1.2 (0x2) LMP Subver: 0x1f4 Manufacturer: Integrated System Solution Corp. (57) So either the dongle manufacturer forgot to set the addresses or this is a ROM device which needs a special initialization routine. Does anybody have some details about ISSC chips?
