That must have been one hell of a surge, to knock out your central
heating systems. I lost a bunch of gear to a leaky roof not long ago
including a circa 1983 IBM PC/AT in mint condition.
Anyway, this really sucks. Do you accept PayPal donations? There are
many, many, users out there whose hardware would be useless if not for
your work - if even 10% put up a few bucks then you could probably
replace all your gear.
Did you lose any data or hardware donated by vendors?
