Subject: [ath9k-devel] ath9k driver automatically switches to lower bitrate
Date: Fri, 12 Jun 2009 11:04:39 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1244797479.9928.8.camel@localhost> (raw)

I use Ubuntu 9.04 on a Macbook Pro (3.1) with the ath9k driver. During
normal internet activity there's no problem when the bitrate switches
back from 54Mbit to 11Mbit, but when I use the laptop for things like
MythFrontend, I do need the maximum bitrate in order to be able to watch
television, so for this I have to move to ndiswrapper which has other
downsides.

Is there a way in which I can lock the driver on 54Mbit? Any help is
appreciated.

Cheers,
Wietze.
