Subject: Cdrom on Linux domU PV
Date: Fri, 25 Nov 2011 03:12:09 -0800 (PST)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1322219529495-5022556.post@n5.nabble.com> (raw)

I try to use cdrom in domU linux pv, on Lucid and Natty with
'phy:/dev/scd0,xvdc,r' see it as internal disk (not cdrom) and only
administrators can mount it, i try also 'phy:/dev/scd0,xvdc1,r' but not
work.
On Oneiric and Precise (daily build) with 'phy:/dev/scd0,xvdc,r' see it as
cdrom but not automount it, work only manual mount of xvdc; i try also
'phy:/dev/scd0,xvdc1,r' but not work.
Is possible use cdrom on linux domU pv full working where also normal user
can mount it without terminal?
I do something wrong, or there are still bugs in this regard?
Thanks for any reply.
