Yes, I mean both 1) my "pc a 'client' of a server that is the host of a git
repo", 2) I as a client of a git hoster.
Yes, I refer to .gitattributes
I am new to Git, so I have not yet decided for github or other.

But to clarify my need, I want a first repository on my PC, a second one on
a second PC on my local network (kind of backup), and a third one hosted
somewhere in the web to be able to work when I am out. At present time and
at least for one year, I am alone on my project, and it is not opensource.
So I want to protect my sources. I don't want them accessible by anyone. And
in case of hazard on the host (alien attack, bug, acking, malice
aforethought, industrial espionage, etc), I want to stay protected. Yes, I
am paranoïde .

So I want to add some filters, at least for keywords substitution and a pice
of more things on what is hosted.
