Subject: [PATCH 2/3] grep: pass true path name to grep machinery
Date: Wed, 10 Oct 2012 18:34:53 +0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1349868894-3579-3-git-send-email-pclouds@gmail.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1349868894-3579-1-git-send-email-pclouds@gmail.com>
From: Jeff King <peff@peff.net>
Having path name (if available) may be useful. For example, if grep
machinery needs to look up git attributes, it'll need a good path
name. grep_source->name is not good because it's for display purpose
only.
