Subject: [B.A.T.M.A.N.] [PATCHv2 1/6] cfg80211: export expected throughput through get_station()
Date: Sat, 17 May 2014 17:05:26 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1400339131-15636-1-git-send-email-antonio@meshcoding.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1400339060-13544-1-git-send-email-antonio@meshcoding.com>
From: Antonio Quartulli <antonio@open-mesh.com>
Users may need information about the expected throughput
towards a given peer.
This value is supposed to consider the size overhead
generated by the 802.11 header.
Export such value in kbps through the get_station() API
(by including it into the station_info object).
This information will be useful to the batman-adv module
which will use it for its new metric computation.
