FAILED: patch "[PATCH] btrfs: don't accept bare namespace as a valid xattr" failed to apply to 3.10-stable tree

The patch below does not apply to the 3.10-stable tree.
If someone wants it applied there, or to any other stable or longterm
tree, then please email the backport, including the original git commit
id to <stable@vger.kernel.org>.

Subject: [PATCH] btrfs: don't accept bare namespace as a valid xattr

Due to insufficient check in btrfs_is_valid_xattr, this unexpectedly
works:

 $ touch file
 $ setfattr -n user. -v 1 file
 $ getfattr -d file
user.="1"

ie. the missing attribute name after the namespace.
