Subject: Patch "MIPS: unaligned: Surround load/store macros in do {} while statements" has been added to the 4.0-stable tree
Date: Sat, 02 May 2015 14:23:26 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <143056940621835@kroah.com> (raw)
This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
MIPS: unaligned: Surround load/store macros in do {} while statements
to the 4.0-stable tree which can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary
The filename of the patch is:
mips-unaligned-surround-load-store-macros-in-do-while-statements.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.0 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@vger.kernel.org> know about it.

Subject: MIPS: unaligned: Surround load/store macros in do {} while statements
From: Markos Chandras <markos.chandras@imgtec.com>
commit 3563c32d6532ece53c9dd8905a8e41983ef9952f upstream.
It's best to surround such complex macros with do {} while statements
so they can appear as independent logical blocks when used within other
control blocks.
