As said on another thread. The roadmap page is slightly outdated. I'll
update it ASAP.

No progress, work is stalled (for a bunch of reasons). There has been
some conversations, here on the list, recently, about resurfacing it,
but nothing concrete has happened yet (no wonder, as it's a really
difficult piece of work).
