Subject: Patch "xfs: print name of verifier if it fails" has been added to the 4.4-stable tree
Date: Sun, 05 Jun 2016 13:56:42 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <146516020217549@kroah.com> (raw)
This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
xfs: print name of verifier if it fails
to the 4.4-stable tree which can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary
The filename of the patch is:
xfs-print-name-of-verifier-if-it-fails.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.4 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@vger.kernel.org> know about it.

Subject: xfs: print name of verifier if it fails
From: Eric Sandeen <sandeen@redhat.com>
commit 233135b763db7c64d07b728a9c66745fb0376275 upstream.
This adds a name to each buf_ops structure, so that if
a verifier fails we can print the type of verifier that
failed it. Should be a slight debugging aid, I hope.
