Subject: patch "USB: serial: ch341: fix open and resume after B0" added to usb-linus
Date: Thu, 12 Jan 2017 18:18:50 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1484241530133240@kroah.com> (raw)

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

USB: serial: ch341: fix open and resume after B0

to my usb git tree which can be found at
    git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/usb.git
in the usb-linus branch.

The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)

The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.

If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: USB: serial: ch341: fix open and resume after B0

The private baud_rate variable is used to configure the port at open and
reset-resume and must never be set to (and left at) zero or reset-resume
and all further open attempts will fail.

Fixes: aa91def41a7b ("USB: ch341: set tty baud speed according to tty
struct")
Fixes: 664d5df92e88 ("USB: usb-serial ch341: support for DTR/RTS/CTS")
