Subject: Patch "scsi: use 'scsi_device_from_queue()' for scsi_dh" has been added to the 4.10-stable tree
Date: Wed, 08 Mar 2017 14:12:08 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <148897872824626@kroah.com> (raw)
This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
scsi: use 'scsi_device_from_queue()' for scsi_dh
to the 4.10-stable tree which can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary
The filename of the patch is:
scsi-use-scsi_device_from_queue-for-scsi_dh.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.10 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@vger.kernel.org> know about it.

Subject: scsi: use 'scsi_device_from_queue()' for scsi_dh
From: Hannes Reinecke <hare@suse.de>
commit 857de6e00778738dc3d61f75acbac35bdc48e533 upstream.
The device handler needs to check if a given queue belongs to a scsi
device; only then does it make sense to attach a device handler.
