Subject: patch "usb: gadget: function: f_fs: pass companion descriptor along" added to usb-linus
Date: Thu, 09 Mar 2017 10:16:01 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <148905096140204@kroah.com> (raw)

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    usb: gadget: function: f_fs: pass companion descriptor along

to my usb git tree which can be found at
    git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/usb.git
in the usb-linus branch.

The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)

The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.

If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: usb: gadget: function: f_fs: pass companion descriptor along

If we're dealing with SuperSpeed endpoints, we need
to make sure to pass along the companion descriptor
and initialize fields needed by the Gadget
API. Eventually, f_fs.c should be converted to use
config_ep_by_speed() like all other functions,
though.
