This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    [PATCH] Revert "mmc: sdhci-msm: Enable few quirks"

to the 4.9-stable tree which can be found at:
    http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     revert-mmc-sdhci-msm-enable-few-quirks.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.9 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@vger.kernel.org> know about it.

Subject: [PATCH] Revert "mmc: sdhci-msm: Enable few quirks"

This reverts commit d84be51d1c1d3fa148a3abdeeb1455690df59e63 which is
commit a0e3142869d29688de6f77be31aa7a401a4a88f1 upstream.

It causes problems and would need other patches backported to resolve
it, and it shouldn't have been applied to 4.9-stable.
