Subject: patch "USB: iowarrior: fix info ioctl on big-endian hosts" added to usb-linus
Date: Wed, 17 May 2017 11:28:00 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <149501328014268@kroah.com> (raw)

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

USB: iowarrior: fix info ioctl on big-endian hosts

to my usb git tree which can be found at
    git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/usb.git
in the usb-linus branch.

The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)

The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.

If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: USB: iowarrior: fix info ioctl on big-endian hosts

Drop erroneous le16_to_cpu when returning the USB device speed which is
already in host byte order.

Found using sparse:

	warning: cast to restricted __le16

Fixes: 946b960d13c1 ("USB: add driver for iowarrior devices.")
