Date: Tue, 12 Sep 2017 09:07:35 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1505232455187216@kroah.com> (raw)
This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
Bluetooth: Properly check L2CAP config option output buffer length
to the 4.4-stable tree which can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary
The filename of the patch is:
bluetooth-properly-check-l2cap-config-option-output-buffer-length.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.4 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

Subject: Bluetooth: Properly check L2CAP config option output buffer length
From: Ben Seri <ben@armis.com>
commit e860d2c904d1a9f38a24eb44c9f34b8f915a6ea3 upstream.
Validate the output buffer length for L2CAP config requests and responses
to avoid overflowing the stack buffer used for building the option blocks.
