Subject: patch "USB: serial: metro-usb: add MS7820 device id" added to usb-linus
Date: Thu, 19 Oct 2017 09:31:47 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <150839830718164@kroah.com> (raw)
This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
USB: serial: metro-usb: add MS7820 device id
to my usb git tree which can be found at
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/usb.git
in the usb-linus branch.
The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)
The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.
If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: USB: serial: metro-usb: add MS7820 device id
Add device-id entry for (Honeywell) Metrologic MS7820 bar code scanner.
The device has two interfaces (in this mode?); a vendor-specific
interface with two interrupt endpoints and a second HID interface, which
we do not bind to.
