Subject: dvbv5-scan fails on DVB-S2
Date: Fri, 05 Feb 2016 15:05:47 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1512032.oAz5utTtnS@eth7> (raw)

Can someone please confirm that dvbv5-scan still works with DVB-S2 transponders?

For the life of me, I cannot get it to pick up any DVB-S2 channels on Astra 28E, but it works fine in MythTV & kaffeine.

If I restrict the scan to a single BBC HD tp:

## Astra 2E
# Transponder 61
[CHANNEL]
        DELIVERY_SYSTEM = DVBS2
        FREQUENCY = 11024000
        POLARIZATION = HORIZONTAL
        SYMBOL_RATE = 23000000
        INNER_FEC = 2/3
        MODULATION = PSK/8
        INVERSION = AUTO

All I get is...

b@eth7 ~/ff/dtv-scan-tables$ /opt/v4l-utils/bin/dvbv5-scan -l UNIVERSAL -F -vvvvvvvv -C gb ~/Astra-28.2E-1
