This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
eeprom: at24: check at24_read/write arguments
to the 4.9-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
eeprom-at24-check-at24_read-write-arguments.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.9 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

So far we completely rely on the caller to provide valid arguments.
To be on the safe side perform an own sanity check.
