Subject: patch "staging: android: ion: Fix dma direction for" added to staging-linus
Date: Tue, 19 Dec 2017 15:54:36 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <151369527669245@kroah.com> (raw)
This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
staging: android: ion: Fix dma direction for
to my staging git tree which can be found at
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging.git
in the staging-linus branch.
The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)
The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.
If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: staging: android: ion: Fix dma direction for
dma_sync_sg_for_cpu/device
Use the direction argument passed into begin_cpu_access
and end_cpu_access when calling the dma_sync_sg_for_cpu/device.
The actual cache primitive called depends on the direction
passed in.
