Sorry, I was travelling. I think this should do it:
MACHINE = "qemux86"
require conf/multilib.conf
MULTILIBS = "multilib:lib64"
DEFAULTTUNE_virtclass-multilib-lib64 = "x86-64"
$ bitbake lib64-core-image-sato-sdk
