Subject: patch "usb: renesas_usbhs: gadget: Do not discard queues in" added to usb-linus
Date: Fri, 04 Oct 2019 14:36:38 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <157019259821934@kroah.com> (raw)

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

usb: renesas_usbhs: gadget: Do not discard queues in

to my usb git tree which can be found at
    git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/usb.git
in the usb-linus branch.

The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)

The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.

If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: usb: renesas_usbhs: gadget: Do not discard queues in
 usb_ep_set_{halt,wedge}()

The commit 97664a207bc2 ("usb: renesas_usbhs: shrink spin lock area")
had added a usbhsg_pipe_disable() calling into
__usbhsg_ep_set_halt_wedge() accidentally. But, this driver should
not call the usbhsg_pipe_disable() because the function discards
all queues. So, this patch removes it.
