Subject: patch "staging: vt6655: Fix memory leak in vt6655_probe" added to staging-linus
Date: Mon, 07 Oct 2019 12:41:13 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <157044487320622@kroah.com> (raw)

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

staging: vt6655: Fix memory leak in vt6655_probe

to my staging git tree which can be found at
    git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging.git
in the staging-linus branch.

The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)

The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.

If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: staging: vt6655: Fix memory leak in vt6655_probe

In vt6655_probe, if vnt_init() fails the cleanup code needs to be called
like other error handling cases. The call to device_free_info() is
added.
