Subject: patch "USB: dummy-hcd: Fix uninitialized array use in init()" added to usb-testing
Date: Mon, 07 Dec 2020 15:28:21 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <160735130119229@kroah.com> (raw)
This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
USB: dummy-hcd: Fix uninitialized array use in init()
to my usb git tree which can be found at
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/usb.git
in the usb-testing branch.
The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)
The patch will be merged to the usb-next branch sometime soon,
after it passes testing, and the merge window is open.
If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: USB: dummy-hcd: Fix uninitialized array use in init()
This error path
err_add_pdata:
for (i = 0; i < mod_data.num; i++)
kfree(dum[i]);
can be triggered when not all dum's elements are initialized.
Fix this by initializing all dum's elements to NULL.
