Subject: patch "staging: greybus: Add missing rwsem around snd_ctl_remove() calls" added to staging-linus
Date: Wed, 17 Nov 2021 14:09:04 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <16371545445113@kroah.com> (raw)
This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
staging: greybus: Add missing rwsem around snd_ctl_remove() calls
to my staging git tree which can be found at
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging.git
in the staging-linus branch.
The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)
The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.
If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: staging: greybus: Add missing rwsem around snd_ctl_remove() calls
snd_ctl_remove() has to be called with card->controls_rwsem held (when
called after the card instantiation). This patch adds the missing
rwsem calls around it.
