Since YOU WANT help, you should behave like its ment to be not always throughing arround how stupid this and that is. Lately there have been a lot changes suggested by kernel-developers to get reiser4 into the mainline kernel, so that's why it not as stable as it was. Furthermore maybe this is the reason why there's no such patch, have you thought this way round. Maybe only testers should use the current version?
