Jan 29 12:58:49 pizza kernel: APIC error on CPU0: 08(08)
Jan 29 12:58:52 pizza kernel: APIC error on CPU1: 08(08)
Jan 29 12:58:53 pizza kernel: APIC error on CPU1: 08(02) 
Occasional lock-ups and freezes. 
Happened also on 2.4.0.
More likely to happen under heavy load (VmWare)
