Which install type are you attempting? 32 bit, 64 bit, serial or graphical console? Can you post the console log so we can see what happens prior to this HPMC? If your machine can boot 32 or 64 bit kernels, then I'd suggest that you try 32 bit serial console, as sim700 is better tested on 32 bit.
