Of course, it's not a full GUI installation tool or anything, but you can do it. :) Just be warned, gentoo is definitely still in development. I have it on all my systems, but I don't know that I would call it "production ready". If you're a home user with good backups, or have a spare computer lying around that you use to test stuff though, or if you're just really daring, give it a try.
