I didn't think about this that way before, because both documents solve different purposes. FAQ is ment to be a source of questions/answers for typical problems *but* HOWTO is a bunch of process descriptions for achiving arbitrary goals with LVM correctly. If I missed your point, please provide some examples HOWTO ;-) integrate FAQs and HOWTO.
