No problem. The device is /dev/hdc, set to
/dev/ide/host0/bus1/target0/lun0/cd with devfs. I just reproduced the problem.
I have a hefty list of modules loaded (including ALSA). See attached for that.
In the messages file, I've taken it from the initial time I saw the problem,
through the reboot, up to reproducing it. I did just remember that I'm running
devfsd-1.3.19, so I might be getting it from not upgrading. I'll do that
really quick, and see if I can reproduce it another time.
