I was hoping (there's that word again) someone would do that. All parisc machines were sold with a HPUX license. As the owner of such a machine, you have the right to run the binaries shipped with the machine. And it comes with lots of useful binaries (jvm, compiler, X11 stuff, etc). hth, grant
