Subject: My msdos program crashes(was:MS-DOS and Clipper)
Date: Thu, 2 May 2002 22:39:37 +0300	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200205022239.37816.BillG@hellug.gr> (raw)

I have a program which has been written in clipper. It is a
program that students use to practice their English skills. When I run it
using DosEmu everything seems to work fine until when a student gives me the
 wrong answer.

When you give the correct answer a green window appears and a noncontinious
bipping sound is heard letting the student know that he or she has given the
 correct answer.

When a student though gives the wrong answer then the bipping sound is
continuous for a few seconds (causing the program in dos emu to crash)

If you could find a solution to my problem I would appreciate it deeply
because I want to get rid of windows once and for good and this is the only
 reason I still have them.

Thanking you in advance
