I think so. I know someone here in Cupertino that stockpiles 735/125 boards for that purpose. I know particular revs of firmware are required to run 125Mhz but don't know details. Also note that the firmare is only *chip* upgradeable. ie, scavenge newer firmware chips from dead boxes if you can. grant
